Update has been submitted
2008-12-07 00:27
Now the update to version 1.1.0 has been submitted to the App Store. It will probably take a few days before it will become available for download, as Apple needs to review it.
I have the tripple-ping, auto-scrolling, and preferences (to set default host, timeout and max TTL). The timeout could be adjusted down to get past non-answering hosts quicker.
So this version is way better, and worthwhile the upgrade.

Trippe ping is now working in the development version, and I am currently fine tuning the preferences. I hope to be able to upload an update sometime this weekend.
Planned enhancements

Right now the planned enhancements are:
Do you have anything on your priority list, let me know, and I will see when I can get time to squeeze it in.
- Do a tripple ”ping” in traceroute like in Windows/Unix/OS X
- Add preferences. I would like to be able to adjust the timeout (now 5 seconds) of ping and non-answering hosts in traceroute.
- Next major feature is DNS, allowing the user to lookup different record types (A, CNAME, TXT, SRV, SOA etc)

Application now in the App Store

The NetTools application is now available in the App Store. The approval process went faster than expected. I submitted the application in the weekend, and now 3 workdays later, it is online and ready to buy. I am very satisfied about this.
